Class review of the day’s activities and practice of mele in preparation for Uncle Matt Kawaiola Sproat’s session with haumāna during the last week of the program to compose a new Lāna’i mele.

Haumāna continued plotting and measuring features at Hi’i and map out this storied place on Lāna’i. They also engaged in creative writing, exploring ‘olelo no‘eau, and sharing their daily reflections.

Haumāna then headed out into the field with Kumu to continue their survey work at Hi‘i.
